I was just debating on purchasing gems with gold when I had a thought. please forgive me if this idea has already been brought up.

“Add a tab, or fix the tab for purchasing gems with gold.”

What I mean by this is, if a player is looking to purchase a specific amount of gems, the cost of each gem changes by the second. I think the tab should have an option to type in the amount of gems you’re looking to purchase, instead of typing in the amount of gold you’re spending. With the current tab, if a player decides that they wish to purchase 1000 gems, and say that 1000 gems goes for 20g, by the time the player submits the purchase, they could be shorted any number of gems; Now the player is forced to play with this tab only to possibly have the same thing happen multiple times.

I just think that adding a section to type in the amount of gems a player wishes to purchase is much easier then playing around with the coins rate going up and down.

Add comment if you agree. The more that people agree, the better the chances of the change being made.

I’m just going to bump this one time to hopefully get some responses, then i’ll let the subject go.

Actually I think this is a nice change, and even if the price was always the same, it’d make more sense to type in the number of gems you want to purchase rather than the amount of gold you want to spend. There could also just be two input fields – one for the amount of gold you want to spend and one for the amount of gems you want to purchase, and typing in something in one field will update the other field automatically.

Couldn’t have put it better myself. It is kinda dumb that I have to play the guessing game when buying gems with gold. “Oh, maybe the price is 2g atm? Oh, no, that just gives 95 gems… lets try 2g 10s? Oh, 99 gems, getting closer, maybe if I added some 50 c? nope, did nothing. ect. ect. ect.”
But I guess thats such an obvious flaw they’re going to fix it later on?

I really hope they change this some time in the future. The most annoying thing is that the price fluctuates all the time so by having to guess how many gold is enough for the amount of gems you want to buy you usually end up spending more (a few silver to a few gold extra depending on how much you’re buying) than if you could have just typed in the amount of gems and hit buy
