Ive never seen this happen so Im guessing they cant.
It would be really useful, especially in the personal storyline where you are often teamed up with NPCs to help you.
Its fairly common for the player to die, but not all the NPCs do, but they will revive each other, but not you the player.
Seems a bit odd.

They actually can but they wont prioritize players over fighting like other players will. I’ve been revived by an npc in dungeons before.

Yeah, the baby quaggans at a jumping puzzle ressed me once. Trahearne, Braham, a merchant in WvW and Eir all ressed me at least once, too.
And actually Eir and Trahearne both ressed me while being hit by the enemies (and both died for that), so I think the npcs can randomly chose if they will help you or fight the enemies.

Aye, I’ve been saved by a few npcs. It doesn’t happen often but it does happen.

They revived me sometimes in beginner zones.

I saw a video of a shark rezzing a player in WvW once. It wasn’t a ranger pet either.

It depends on the NPC. Generally NPCs don’t (can’t) res. Some can, and some can only res.
