I would like Evon to win. I want his rewards and his fractal. I think he is a better candidate. However I am being forced into voting for Kiel if I want to get all the event achievements…

The achievements should be general, not for a specific candidate.

Forcing us to support both candidates to finish the achievements isn’t much of an election…

Can’t have your cake and eat it too

maybe that is a bit harsh, I mean if you really want to support a candidate, you will not get the rewards that the other candidate offers (fractal, discounts, achievements, mini, etc). feels very much like a real election in that sense.

You can support both candidates a bit till you get both achievements, which most people will do, and after that continue to support your candidate.

Do you remembre the NPCs on southsun that gave you the MF and gold find buff?

You had to run the gold find one for a period of time to get achievements but the rest of the time you ran the MF one.

The same will be true here. And because everyone will be doing it, you won’t lose anything by doing it yourself.

Yup yup, if you want both achieves, just support both for the short period of time it takes to get both, then pour your votes into the one you want after. No Biggy. As Vayne said, its the same thing we did in Southsun with the Refugees vs Consortium support

I’m pretty sure it’s an attempt to balance the votes, as only the diehard voters will go out of their way to tip the scales in their votee’s favor.

That’s true I suppose. Most people will be going for all the achievements so it will essentially just set a higher 0 mark.

I am disgruntled on this issue too, but may be coming from a different direction. I prefer the minigame the candidate I don’t want to vote for has achievements for. It doesn’t seem fair to have to vote against my candidate in order to play the game I want.
