No. You should get a deserter title that can’t be removed for an entire day as soon as you enter the JP.
i think it would be far fairer if you got WvW points for upgrading stuff instead.
right now if you spend an hour upgrading a tower then you get; negative gold, no experiance, no karma, no loot and its probably just going to get flipped anyway by a zerg of farmers.
