Okay, I’m not sure why we haven’t got capes yet, but for me they’re a big part of the game, they make your character look sweet, it would work well with the dyes, it would also compliment guild emblems like in Guild Wars 1.
There could be your guild emblem, a border and the overall colour of the cape, all with access to dye capabilities, it could make your character look all that much better.
Now, I hate to be ‘that guy’, but in WoW it was pretty cool, getting a cape on your cool warrior and seeing it flow from side to side, it just helped finish it all off in terms of looks, but ArenaNet could do it better, their dye system could make it truly awesome!
Anyway, I noticed the fact that the ‘back’ slot in your hero inventory shows a cape, but you can’t actually get a cape? False advertising, teasing? I dunno, but still, backpacks just don’t fit the bill for me.
A response from ArenaNet would be great, and I’d like to hear your suggestions too!
