Come’on, The Basic stones are 100000% useless and i have over 60 (as most do)… wtf am i supposed to do with those, Destroy? Talk about an useless campaign reward. The npc (or whatever way) should be there to trade like 5 Basic for one Fine.

Buy keys. Although a MF recipe that upgrades 25 basic stones into 1-3 fines is cool.

Maybe you want to look awesome on low level toons? Besides, Fine Transmutation stones are already really easy to get, making it more easy would simply cut a bit more in to gem store profits. I like the idea of A-net getting money.
