Dailies should be able to be completed at 11:59:59 and the repeated at 12:00…as it is the dailies are really more like 2 day cycles because it forces you to player later and later…most of us can’t.

If that is too cryptic then how about this…

One should be able to complete the daily…then on the next day…NOT after 24 hours has passed…but the next day…as in daily….you can do another daily.

Yes there are 24 hours in a day, but if you say see you tomorrow…do you say the next day …wait its not tomorrow because I said it 23 hrs ago!

Uhmm.. the daily has a 24 hour clock that resets at 5PM PST.

So… your suggestion is already implemented.

Oh I did not know the day started at 5PM PST. Seems like 12 am would have been a better choice. Of course the best time to do a patch is 7PM central apparently too.

Maybe its just the treasure chests.

Certain treasure chests respawn every 24 hours, yes.

Maintenance is done ~11am PST (server time) on Tuesdays. Patches are done at the same time. Unless they are hotfixes, in which case they are done when they are done.

No, this is the “it’s midnight according to the universally recognized industry standard” argument. Could you clarify what time zones you’re suggesting? There’s also a “Eastern”, “Central”, and “Western” European time. All of these are subject to daylight savings shifts, should it change according to that or not?

How DARE they schedule maintenance and timer resets according to their own per-determined time-tables and schedules instead of checking with YOU first for a convenient time. You’re so right, this most definitely reflects how little they care about their players….
