You know… I’d actually like that… you don’t know how many times I’ve looked at the attributes in the Trait tree’s i’m building into and been like “I don’t need this attribute, but I do need that one but the traits in the tree for it are worthless”
And then you realize that this change would follow with everybody putting their Toughness and Healing Power attributes together because they offer the best bang for your buck.

I think the real plus side to this is that it would force ANet to reevaluate the way they have been “balancing” the game. Certain build types that are sub-optimal now might actually become half decent for once too. And with a re-balancing they will actually be legitimately viable builds how they should have been from the start.
And then you realize that this change would follow with everybody putting their Toughness and Healing Power attributes together because they offer the best bang for your buck.
That depends on your build. I would rather have condition damage or condition duration on my necromancer. Life steals arn’t effected by healing power.

While that may not be op but only beneficial for you, it would open up paths to some really op builds. Just like certain attribute combinations don’t exist on armor for good reasons. Forcing you to choose is an important part of balancing, just like having to choose from a set of traits or weapons.
