I love the game, even more so now we actually have working forums to dicsuss/argue points with others from the community but !…

Any chance we could get a few different skins/themes to choose from?
TBH guys this one looks.. well.. a little cheap !

You gave us a great game and crappy forums…lol

Thanks

Not to be oppositional, but I absolutely love the minimalist theme of the GW2 web content and can think of no meaningful way in which it could be improved.

I would prefer just a go to last post button (and have clicking on thread name go to the first post) and stop having it do it automatically. Because how it is right now, I can’t just hit the back button to go back to the thread list, I have to do extra steps (depending on browser) to get back there. There should be at least a couple of different themes as well, some of us don’t really like the mostly white screen.

Actualy from artistic and practical side this forum is nearly perfect and I tell you this as both dedicated forums user and graphic designer (specialized in DTP). It’s very readable, well designed and clean. What I would like to see is to improve post creation tool so you don’t have to type-in that BBcode-like tags and just click the option you want but this is cosmetics. Personaly I wish to see some kind of personalization for users (avatars) – it’s bad from artistic point of view unless they give you huge base of their own avatars to choose from but it will make forum more readable. As a many years forums user I recognize users by their avatars without having to read their nickname to know with who I am talking.

Although the one thing it’s lacking is “night mode” because reading forum at night that is so “whity-white” blows eyes into the space.
