Gems to Gold conversion calculator is currently okay, because you see
100 gems = xyz gold, and if you need the gold, whatever you get is fine.

Gold to Gems conversion calculator is NOT okay, because the gem value of gemstore items is FIXED but the gold>gem market is NOT.

Example:
I want to buy 5 Fine Transmutation Stones for EXACTLY 200 gems.
What i need to do to get EXACTLY 200 gems from gold:
1 gold = 30 gems (not it)
200/30 = 6.6666667
6 gold 66 silver = 203 gems(still not it, because of decimals/rounding up)
6 gold 55 silver = 198 gems(still not it, because gold>gem market just fluctuated)
6 gold 60 silver = 199 gems(still not there yet)
6 gold 61 silver = 200 gems(finally there, and that’s excluding nickel and diming for copper)

Please note on top of that that prices fluctuate by the second and you never get there on the first try.

When people buy gems using gold, they have an EXACT amount of gem they want to buy(because they want a specific gemstore item that has a FIXED price in gems). I want to buy 200 gems, i dont want to buy 201 gems or 199 gems.

Can you just please implement a “i want to buy 100 gems so tell me the price in gold” button?
That way i click the button twice and get EXACTLY 200 gems.

+1, I have same problem every time I buy gems

Supported even though I only sell gems. the easier it is to buy gems with gold, the more my gems give in return.

I wouldn’t say this is one of the bigger and more important issues in the game, but yes it could be more easier to buy a certain amount of gems, playing the guessing game can get annoying, however there is probably a good reason why this system is like it is.

This would be very useful, at least for me. ^^
