Change Retaliation
Engi does kind of get screwed when it comes to retaliation on flamethrower and grenades. If it’s a problem, though, you always have Throw Mine for boon removal.
I think this needs to be toned down a little. or at least more balanced, perhaps doing a % of the damage you do back at you.
I am being killed by this a lot. It’s not so much on an issue if it was possible to monitor even buff on every enemy in the new group events, but it’s not.
For example I was playing FT Eng. Each tick of my flame ability wakittenting for around 170-210. This hit’s 10 times. Now that’s fine not saying it need a boost or anything but the mobs were retaliating with 317 per hit per mob.
That means I was dealing 1700-2100 to each mob and I was being hit for 3170 per mob.
Well when you do the maths in that short burst of damage I am putting out. If there’s 3 mobs with retaliation I have lost half my health.
Now I think PvP players will agree if retaliation hits 317 per hit received on a hit of 5-7k is too low, but 317 is too high for a hit of 180. add lag and before I have a chance to do anything about it I am dead.
I would like to hear if anyone is having issues.
