Ok, i have put up with it for some time now, but I am fed up at our WvW matchups.

To elaborate, I am part of Ferguson’s Crossing server and our opponents in WvW are “Eredon Terrace” and “Sorrow’s Furnace”. We have been fighting the other two with supreme determination, BUT the concept is unbalanced.

I am referring to bloody “Sorrow’s Furnace”. Their sheer numbers makes many people throw in the towel and abandon the effort due the UNFAIR advantage Sorrows Furnace has. Eredon Terrace and Ferguson’s Crossing are perfect matches for each other. We have a stable fight that we wage on one another evenly. SORROW’S FURNACE on the other hand has become like a swarm of outnumbering.

To put in perspective: Eredon Terrace and Ferguson’s Crossing are of the same tier in terms of population when listed on world list, “Medium”. Sorrow’s Furnace is considered “Very High” population. Why do we get matched with a server that outnumbers both Eredon Terrace and Ferguson’s Crossing combined 3-to-1?!!!!! This makes no sense when there’s another “Medium” server you could replace Sorrow’s Furnace with to even the battlefield and Encourage more people to join WvW.

Cause think of this: You are in the playground and a fight ensues between 2 young children. They are laying down punches and having a good fist fight. SUDDELY, a street gang of 6 people get out and start beating them down without hesitation.

Same situation. Not as many people from our server are willing to join in WvW as we would like? Why would they when the Zerg infestation from Starcraft nail them as soon as they leave the safe zone?

Myself and countless others from both Eredon Terrace and Ferguson’s Crossing would DEEPLY appreciate if whatever moderator or authority in charge of this could switch us to match up with the other “Medium” server and put Sorrow’s Furnace with the other “Very High” populated servers.

I just felt like it was time to say something.

Same problem at my server this week, but if the problem is permanent on your server, I guess i know why it is. You might want to check this site:

Your server is at the lowest place on the wvwvw ranking, so probably only little people on your server like wvwvw. I’m playing on underworld (this is a Europe server) and you will see we are getting plain owned by baruch bay this week, and that is on plain numbers, since if I go in with a friend of me that is playing mesmer and I’m on my warrior we tend to kill them 2 vs 5 (we the 2). But in the end wvwvw is developed in such a way numbers do have influence. And the fact that surrow’s furnace is in the lowest tier tells me they are not that good as a server. My advise to you would be, change server, however if you say all my friends are on the server I’m now on, you either should convince them to join you on an other server or stay on the server where you are now and accept the situation. And for as far I know, but I did not check it, server transefers from higher to lower populated servers are free at the moment.
