Would like to have the ability to change names, while it will probably be a paid service it would be nice to see in the future.

Agreed! Why can’t mmo companies launch with stuff like this?

I just noticed this on the TP last night, “Name Change Contract”. On the wiki it states "This item seems to have been listed on the Trading Post as early as October 8, 2012. However, it has yet to have been made available for players. "

So, it must be in the code already. Just not activated.

I noticed as of today that even tho the name change contract was indeed listed on BLTC where you could place a bid in hope of it being in game is no longer there,am hoping this is because the Devs finally realise that this is an important function as having the right name for your toon helps you bond with it which =more fun and more playing in gw2.

It is because they have been working on that feature…..some people who go through codes listed it on the guru and showed pictures of it.

The item is called Name Change Contract….. no clue of any other info.

Many believe it will be similar to the total makeover kit where you buy in the gem store and get an item that is a one time use.

The tool will probably be account locked and spoken of in the future when they have some more time on their end than handling holiday event bugs and issues.

As others have mentioned, it seemingly already exists but isnt actually available yet. I hope this becomes available soon, its a pretty mundane thing to ask for but some people are really OCD about the names of their characters.
