Okay so I’ll admit .. I personally HATE playing a character that looks ugly, and am guilty of creating my characters too quick because I was just so anxious to get into some play during the early access that I didn’t think my choices threw… So this is what I’m proposing…

Race Change ( 1200Gems)
-Consumable (Tonic/Ale)
- Bumps Character out to Race select screen, allows for Race select, and Character customization. SKIPS profession.
-Racial skills LOST. No refunds for Skill Points. ( Seeing as there is no current skill point reset this shouldn’t be a way to get one either. You’ll have to earn them back leveling 80+)
-Storyline OPT A. (Tonic) Somewhere along the lines of "Drank a tonic which has had permanent effects. "
-Storyline OPT B. (Ale) (Character gets drunk from ale and blacks out), Waking up “I had the weirdest dream I was a (Insert previous race here), And I (insert racial choice here. Ex. was a blood legion soldier), Thankfully it was only a dream.”
-Storyline OPT C. (?) ???

Character Re-customization(800Gems)
-Consumable Item ( Tonic )
-Bumps character into character customization.
-Storyline Opt A. " Haircut, Shave, and Tuck "
-Storyline Opt B. " That tonic was permanent"

Name Change(400Gems)
-Consumable Item ( Document )
-Name change template for pets

Thoughts?
Grammar, Spelling? Effects or Affects?? ( sorry no English major here.)

I’ll second re-customization…but not for gems, that’s just a bit much, and your price is a bit crazy. A simple NPC in each town that can do this would be the best path, costing gold, not gems.

I followed the path laid by WoW on price. Seemed pricey but slightly fair, considering I don’t know much about coding but I bet this takes some effort. And its a one time purchase game so I’m not worried about giving Anet a little extra to show them they did a good job.
