Q:
Why can’t we have 5 characters on one server and have another 5 characters on another server? World of Warcraft, Star Wars the Old Republic, and other mmo’s has this so why not GW2? There is 8 professions in GW2 and there is probably a lot of people who wants a character for each profession. If we can’t have several world home servers at least make 8 slots on the main world home server.

As for having characters based on other servers, it’s because some people would use that to grief WvW by spying for their main server or using up the other servers supplies.
As for the number of character slots, you can buy more with either real money or ingame money.
There is always guesting if you want to be on another server.
