Guild Wars 2

Ok, so given the recent announcement on Guesting I figured I’d finally post this suggestion. I was hoping that Guesting would allow my friends and I to group up with friends of ours deployed over in Europe without having to actually transfer our characters over there permanently (and vice versa) since that would negatively affect our ability to get groups or decent WvW on a regular basis.

Since it was announced that it wouldn’t work I have a possible solution for others in this same situation (I know of a lot of old Guild Wars 1 guilds that have a similar problem). Simply allow people to create at least one character in another region. Even if the spot had to be purchased I doubt most of us would have an issue with it.

There is really no reason NOT to allow it either, since there’s no WvW overlap between regions so there’s no potential for cheating. The advantage is the increased happiness of your customers.
