just a thought, but how about charging karma for way point travel?* : )

it would kill two birds with one stone: people complaining about spending their hard-earned copper on travel, and people complaining there’s hardly any real use for karma at max level.

and… it just makes SENSE! : D

I can see this working.

I don’t like this idea at all tbh. The same way you don’t want spend money on these “expensive waypoints” (and I use that phrase lightly), why should I have to spend my hard earned karma on traveling?

Agreed, glad to see someone else understands how a “living economy” works.

It’s an interesting idea, but almost every activity you can do in the game drops gold, but only some of those activities drop karma. Folks could feel pressured to do activities they didn’t want to so they could use way points. The lower level folks don’t have karma built up.

Maybe just in Orr you could pay karma to get air dropped in by helicopter to certain locations.
