Guild Wars 2

So, my main is a Charr female, and I absolutely love her. However, the noises she makes while jumping are terrible! Sometimes she’ll let out a cacophony of grunts and shouts that last longer than the jump itself, and they just sound downright embarrassing. Jumping puzzles are filled with the sounds of what I imagine would be a lady Charr having a spot of trouble in an outhouse.

One thing that leads me to believe this may be a bug, is the fact that my character always lets out one of these… symphonies… when falling from a great height, like from the diving spot in Lion’s Arch. Perhaps this sound is only supposed to be produced when falling from a great height, and is currently not working as intended?

I know Charr females are probably the least popular race-gender combination, but that doesn’t mean they should be ignored. Thank you in advance for any feedback. I absolutely love my character, but sometimes the sounds put me off and my guildmates sometimes mock me for them, haha. Apologies if this has already been addressed.

Yeah. I noticed that too, and it’s quite annoying.

It’s as if one of her normal jump voices got mixed with a long dive one, so she’ll shout as if she was jumping from a very high altitude, when she’s not. And since the recording is longer, she will still be shouting when she’s just walking after the jump.

Yeah… I love my female charr, but those constipated grunts make me laugh all the time.

Happens to my Male Charr a lot too, Slightly embarrassing.

Well then, maybe it is a bug?
