Sorry about my english .If someone are willing to clarify my idea in a proper english i will be gratitude.Thanks!

1. Promote player interaction.More ways to express themselves.The current chatting system are too ‘formal’.
2. New emoticons can be obtain via gemstore, achievement, map exploration,or events.
3. Player spend gem on emoticons, Anet earn money!
4. Special dynamic emoticons. Feature emoticon of boss, npc ….
5. Feasible to do as not many works are needed to update the chatting system.(My opinion, Please correct me if i am wrong)
6. I don’t want to use ’ : D XD :=D’ anymore!
7.More suggestion are needed!
8.Thanks for your patient for reading my post!

I think you mean something like this but designed in GW2 style. Yea, I support this with two more suggestions to it :

1 ) chat option show/hide emoticons (for people who like a clear chat window)
2) make them race based designed so we can see from them what race a chat talker is

but GW2 in overall needs alot more Emotres and especially emotes, that are usable via clickable bar buttons, so that you have to type in always chat commands.

FF14 again a tradiotional mmorpg shows how this works and how it worked already in countless older MMORPGs before GW2.
Why can#t we have in this game something simple as that, which works already over alot of years in Games, when only GW1 existed…

Simple Press Button X
Emote Window/Bar pops up and you press the Emote Button you want to use
Character uses the Emote, without that you had to type in any Chat Commands.

Personally I like the idea behind sub classes ~ quoted from Chris Whiteside
