Currently, all events are giving the same reward, depending on your level. That creates a “melting pot” effect: all players are going in low level areas (easy events) or hight level areas (more loots). The middle-level areas are really big, and that’s not a bad thing, but they are full of champions events with nobody to complete them.
The second problem is that players are not really encouraged to do events. One or two silver is not much for a level 80 character, especially since waypoints are expensive. We always know what we are going to get, there’s no random loot…
That is why I am posting about an idea: giving a chest for each completed Dynamic Event. These chests could have different loots for each zone.
Example.
Queensdale Chest:
“Thanks for helping Queensdale.”-Logan Thackeray
Common loots (50-60% of chance to get two):
- 1-3 random Tier 1 crafting material.
- 1-2 silver coins.
- Green/Blue items depending on your level.
- 50 random Tier 1 tools.
- 1-2 unidentified dyes.
Better loots (15-25% of chance to get one):
- An item giving 1000 karma.
- A rare item depending on your level.
- A random gem store item (Boost, Black Lion Key, Black Lion tools, etc.)
- A weapon skin dropable in Queensdale (double-click to apply).
Very rare loots (5% of chance to get one):
- A rare exotic item depending on your level.
- A random miniature.
- 20 silver coins.
The game would feel way more rewarding that way and people would be way more attracted by Dynamic Events. Also, you could put interesting rewards in lvl 30-60 to have more population and better rewards on champions events.
Now, players,
Do you agree/disagree (arguments) ?
Do you have more loots ideas?
