I know China Server will open

but i’m Taiwanese who don’t want to China Server

I want to konw North America Server will add to Chinese Language Interface

or China Server have Chinese Language Interface only

Languages are client based and not server based so as we can change the language now from the launcher, I am sure any new language added will have the same mechanic

I am a chinese player, and I am human, not bot. lol

and bot will not care any kind of language, isn’t it ?

Well…
At the first we need to distinguish between Taiwan and Chinese they are different country.
Then, I think the language interface and BOTs are irrelevant.

A lot of Taiwanese were interested in Guild Wars 2, but they don’t like English interface.
Some people have played Guild Wars which has Chinese interface, but they don’t play GW2.
We hope we could change the text language to Traditional Chinese in the international server.
(Simplified Chinese only is not a good choose, because some of Taiwanese don’t like it.)
We’d like to invite more friend to play this game.

At least let us type Chinese completely in the chat, please!
(Some of Chinese characters would disappear now.)

Honestly, I am disappointed that there is simplified chinese but no Traditional Chinese.

Even we can’t type words in common shape. It is kinda insult to Taiwan ppl.

Forgive me for my extreme words.

What i wanna tell is please add Traditional Chinese language, at least fix the broken characters.

I represent thousands of Taiwan ppl to thank for Anet’s kind !!

Personally, I want to be able to Traditional Chinese text interface because:
NO.1) I can fully understand the content of the main story of each race.
NO.2) I can completely understand all the “love mission” and “dynamic events” the story content.
NO.3) I can fully understand that the NPC on the side of the road in what to say about their story.
All in all, I hope that Guild Wars 2 is a game I can play for life, thank you very much.

GW2 no doubt is an international game.

So, except English, GW2 has German,French and Spanish….But no Chinese?

You may gonna say: “you can go to china sever and go have fun!”
but I’ve to say that some Chinese would like to go to NA sever rather than China sever,and Taiwanese too.

So ,i suggest that GW2 should have Chinese(traditional and Simplified)

And its not difficult btw.. ,it just depends on what Anet wanna listen and make it more “international”…

So I’m an american player, but…

I’ve noticed that when I change my computer to Chinese (I have it for simplified, as that’s what I learned) I can indeed type chinese characters. My only issue is about half of all characters are only about 1/3 width, and therefore don’t show almost any of the character.

For traditional characters, I imagine the exact same problem, though I haven’t tried trying in traditional at all.

I think the support for the language is there, its just being “squished” in some form.

I love this game.
If GW2 have chinese interface,I can more enjoy this game!!

+1 for more In-Game English classes.

I know that there is going to be a “china version”,but as far as i know,the “china version” might cut some of the part in game.I’m a Taiwanese,and consider the fun that i enjoy will be reduced,i tend to not play it.I just suggest if u guys could add a “Traditional Chinese” language,although we have the same lauguage,but when I look “Simplified Chinese”,it’s just unaccustomed.Not only we Taiwanese but also Hong Kong use “Traditional Chinese” in normal,i think when we play this game in the language that we’re familiar,there are going to be more people could enjoy the fun that this wonderful game brings to. Sincerely.

I`m a Chinese player too.Chinese interface is good for all the Chinese character user.That `s about Chinese Mainland player,Chinese TaiWan player,overseas Chinese player and other Chinese character use player.Guild Wars 2 is a MMORPG to bring into play sociality that need multiple language interface in all servers not only in few servers.So we wish to see Chinese interface.

Aren’t the majority of the interface text sections font-based already? I’d imagine the extra time to get a proper chinese option is down to translation, as they would want to translate all of the chat bubbles and text so you guys can get a better experience.

I support this though. You guys should be able to play in your native language, especially given that the first game supported it.

Its probably going to cost em to do translations again, which is not needed since if there is a S Chin interface alrdy, then its just a matter of the end user swapping out the chars for T Chin.

Its pretty much the same language anyway.

I am a Taiwanese.I would very much like to use Chinese interface play GW2,Even though the dynamic task do more than fine,I do not even when I was born in the end what happened?I describe GW2 how fun!My friends because there is no Chinese has not yet been joined this adventure,Are not read because they even roadside NPC say something!

Imagine when you buy a foreign language novel, despite its evaluation of how high you is that there is no way to enjoy!
