Chunk of Crab Meat Recipes
Because Anet thinks fish are friends and not food?
Seriously I think crab should be edible ingredient too. Also why no fish meat?
Hopefully…hopefully…they’ll add fishing and seafood/shellfish recipes soon.
Well we have Clams and Seaweed…they acknowledge that food can come from the water at least >_>

Seaweed + Rice Balls + [insert seafood of choice here] = plenty of new recipe possibilities Make it happen, AN. Make it happen.

Can Rangers use Crabs as pets?

Nope. No Captain Crabbins snapping at my enemies…T-T

Don’t think so. They could in GW1 but not as of yet in GW2. However pets can be food… I mean… poultry drops from moas, red meat can drop from drakes, wolves, big cats etc. etc. Having juveniles that are tameable does not make it unedible… apparently.
Agreed. I’d say they should implement recipes for all junk items (maybe armor and weapon skins that match the theme of the item?). Seriously, what’s the purpose of the junk items other than to take up bag space? If they’re not going to be used for something, get rid of them and replace them with copper.

Immersion. It doesn’t make sense for a grub worm or a beetle to carry around money, but it does make sense for the goo harvested from a grub worm or a beetle to fetch a few copper at market. I personally like that mobs drop junk items instead of money.

Well, then they should get rid of the armor and weapon drops on animal mobs.
I like the junk items for immersion.
But it does raise a question of who’s buying all these items that seemingly have no value. Especailly in the case of crab meat. Who’s buying it if it (apparently) can’t be cooked and eaten in this world?
Junk items have always been an immersion thing…and some crap is just that, crap. Now I will admit I’m a little sad that junk items are soulbound, but that’s more a personal preference / style of gaming thing more than anything else.
