We have makeover kits, so why not make class change kits?
Currently, I have a 80 guardian, but im totally fed up with it. I regret thatI didnt make the warrior. Sure I could just make a new character, however I am not an altoholic and I’d like to use the same name. I’ve invested too much time and effort in this character to just delete it and start from the evry scratch (for example I have most of the dyes in game, including most expensive ones). For now I just stopped playing as I don’t feel like playing on my guardian anymore.

I’d love to change the class and to be perfectly honest I see no reason why this should not be implemented.
Bearing in mind that class also changes the personal story, this aspect of the game should be reset and you should be allowed to write your biography once more.
Thats simple solution imo and i really hope it gets implemented some day.

I would be willing to pay gems for a class changer kit. As far as personal story goes it should takes us through the same screen at the beginning of character creation for picking your stories.

Makeover kits are purely cosmetic, while a class change (or race change) would have a big impact on functionality. You wouldn’t be able to use the same weapons or armor, or learn the same skills or traits. It would still be possible, but you’d have to be willing to have all of your skills, traits, and equipment deleted.

You will be able to make a warrior with your guardian’s name though. There is a kit to change your character name that hasn’t been released yet. Once it is released, you can use that to change your guardian’s name, and then create a warrior with the guardian’s original name. Names are reserved to the account that previously held them for 24 hours, so you won’t be risking anyone else stealing it assuming you create the warrior within that time frame.

Why delete qeuipment? They shouldnt delete anything, except for personal story and biography. Rest should be preserved, just like levels.
As far as skills go, all SP and trait allocations should be reseted. It’s very simple to execute I think.

And like I said I am not going to do new character, I’ve spent way too much time and effor on my guardian to just let it go like that.

Class change should be available, I don’t really see any problem with them. Of course you may have some disadvantage, with gear stats or weapons for example. But thats very little to worry about as long as everything else is preserved. Remaking whole character would be worse.

I totally agree. Profession change kits would be, along with makeover kits, imho one of the few products woth real cash. I’m really disappointed that they weren’t introduced already.
