Guild Wars 2

I dont know if this has been discussed (could not find it in search) but a clear chat option would be nice. Also maybe a second chat window so you can see what your guild is chatting while keeping an eye on map?

You can have multiple tabs (and generally the active one lights up), and if you want to clear the gchat window, all you have to do is switch guilds or get kicked to the launcher. :p

clear chat would be much simpler.

Im the kind of person that likes to help people asking stuff on /map and my one and only guild is real “chatty” at times so switching back and fourth while playing is not great. City of Heroes had an option where you could remove one of the chat tabs and make it, its own window guess I got use to it.

You can make multiple chat channels: guild, whisper, map, NPC, etc. Play with that option and you will see what you are interested in.

I would also like this option. Sometimes I don’t want to be reading that one comment over and over again, especially if it’s an offensive one. I was in PvP recently and someone said something abusive in /say, and it was still there on my screen for an hour after, even though I had left the Mists, and even switched character. I don’t want to see that for an hour.

I know Ronah, but you still have to switch back and forth from each tab.

Tomlin I agree and having to log off just to clear that from your screen is not a great option.
