I think this would be a great reward for the players that do exceedingly well in paid tournaments or some other future game type

errr no. spvp is meant to be like

- team fortress 2
- counter strike

where everyone is the same, i.e. balanced and only players personal skill matters.

maybe split the spvp amulet into 6 items
amulet
ring
ring
accessory
accessory
back

so we can tweak our stats better.
