The number of commander icons have been increasing in WvW nowadays and many of them are really bad at leading pugs, mostly to their deaths.

This suggestion will help in the events for per month and helps everyone to decide on only one commander who will be actively participating in WvW. Everyone will have one vote every month, the voting process will last from 3 days to a week and candidates can apply from a npc to be voted to be eligible for the commander icon, this will be politically fun for players and spice things up in the process. The highest voted candidate will be eligible to get the icon, the icon still need to be bought but paying 100g per month is a little to much, i suggest cutting down by around half so it will be affordable per month, this will test the funding skills of the guild every month if they have at least 50 members in a guild and fund 1g each per month.
