Commander ability idea

I just had a few ideas my own when I stumbled upon your thread.
They are quite similar to yours:
1. Give the commander the ability to form squads (Squadname from Squad A to Squad Z) in his army.
2. Let the commander be able to put up to 5 characters of his choosing from his army into each squad.
3. Let the commander be able to swap characters between squads as he deems fit for his intended goal (goals follow later on).
4. Let the commander be able to issue goals (=quests) to each squad seperatly.
4.1. If commander selects a squad and presses a “ping” sign on the worldmap onto, i.e. a supply camp which is already owned by “his side”, he would issue a “DEFEND ORDER QUEST” for all characters in this squad. This squad(s) then would do better to move out to defend the camp. Staying in the marked location to defend will reward a running counter which will then be translated by a forumla (part of ANET design team) into karma points for fullfilling a defend order quest. More Points if attackers are defeated. If squad gets another order from commander while on position defending, quest is deemed completed and reward follows (for squad and for commander).
4.2 If commander sets a “ping” sign on the worldmap on a camp owned by enemies, he issues an “ATTACK ORDER QUEST” to a single or multiple squads (depending on how many squads the commander has selected). If camp is conquered, reward follows (for squad AND for the commander).
5. Let the commander be able to issue attack orders with “attack direction”, like attack from west, east, south, north, i.e. he could hold down a key, press a ping slightly west of an enemy camp and press again right onto the camp to issue the “ATTACK FROM WEST ORDER QUEST” to the selected squads. The chosen squads could i.e. then see an arrow on the minimap and worldmap depicting the attack direction.
6. Let the commander be ably to issue a “RALLY ORDER QUEST” to selected squads. Rally Order Quests do not provide any reward, but if not carried out, you won´t receive (you are blocked from) any further Order Quests from your commander and therefore any further rewards (XP, Karma etc.). So follow the order!
7. Let every character see the other characters in his squad (like in dungeon) and only his squad to better react on low hp, conditions etc.
8. Let the members of a squad have a “ENEMY SPOTTED” function. This could be a right click on an enemy´s portrait and then choosing “enemy sighted” from the dropdown. The Commander would then receive a msg (of the sighting: the general heading and number of enemies near the spotted one if enemy belongs to squad or army) and could adjust his strategy with this Info.
8.1 A solution much more fun: As long as one member of a commanders squad actually sees an enemy, this enemy(ies) is/are visible on the map for the commander. This would give the sneaky characters a nice job as spotter, scout call it what u want.
All above would greatly improve the strategic gameplay of WvWvW. The commander can now finally command and still gets rewards for his strategies, even if he is not physically at some locations. His army (squads) will accomplish his goals for him by chasing the Order Quests given by the commander.
Other commands (orders) the commander could issue which I could think of:
Patrol Order Quest (between some waypoints)
Gather supplies Order Quest
Kill enemy convoy (dolyak) Order Quest
Yeah, that´s it. That´s what I call basic strategic gameplay incentive and possibility.

So sad.. they don’t plan on making ANY commander changes anytime soon.
