I myself am not a commander but it would definitely help out those in WvWvW if the ones giving out commands and such in map or team chat would have a symbol or something that lets everyone know that it is a commander giving out commands instead of some random person. Having their name change color or something special to let everyone know its the commander in the chat would really help.Not necessary but would be helpful to those following orders.
