Hello,
I’d like to suggest that when you mouseover an item when are going to salvage it a tooltip appears showing the comparable item you have equipped. Said another way, if I am about to salvage a pistol and I have activated my salvage kit and have my mouse over the pistol, it will show the pistol I have equipped to compare before I salvage.
Currently, I salvage what I can’t use leaving the stuff I can use to compare after. Then I salvage the stuff I can wear that is inferior to what I am wearing.
