Before I type anything, let me pad this post’s word count by a thousand with the following:

In the edited screenshot above, two things should become quickly apparent – the pink sections of the health bars on display. You’ll notice that both myself and the poor kitten have stacks of Bleeding on them, and that’s what this suggestion is about.

What does the pink represent? It’s the total damage that the stacks of Bleeding, Burning and Poison currently on the target will cause, if allowed to run their full duration. Of course, it’s an entirely simplistic display, completely disregarding heals, regeneration, but it still offers quite some useful information at a glance – for example, I know that one more strike should bring the mob’s HP to a level where the bleed will take them down, so I can move to other targets. For another, if my health bulb is completely pink, I know I won’t survive unless I heal, cleanse, or both.

Now, I’m not saying this is a simple change (I’d estimate it as low to medium difficulty, but not trivial), but it’s something I’d like to see.

Oh, why pink? GW1 turned bleeding characters’ health bars pink. That’s what gave me the idea.
