There are lots of threads on various forums discussing this, and I’ve had an idea about how to temper condition builds so that they can maintain their usefulness / playstyle, without totally nerfing their damage.

The idea is that any general condition duration bonus to be treated like swiftness. I.e. if you have a rune set that increases condition duration by 20%, traits that increase durations by 30%, and food that increases by 40%, then only the food is applied to your condition duration.

Now, I do believe that any traits / sigil / runes that increase a specific condition duration should remain as-is with regular condition duration in that they stack, as you’re making a concious decision to make X-condition your bread and butter DoT that really sticks on a target while any others you apply will run their course until you can reapply them.
