Alright, first things first, I love this game! I have tried a few mmo’s over the years and this is only the second time, I actually get into it and don’t feel like I’m wasting my time…

I don’t have a huge deal of experience as I have only played about 5 MMO’s and only one for over 3 years.

Still there are some things that I would’ve liked different. Some things are easily fixed, or maybe even underway as we speak. Other things well they decided to do differently.

Small stuff:

- I’m missing a barber shop. Some people want to be able to totally revamp their characters, I’d be happy with the possibility of changing hair. On a sidenote How awesome would it be that you can switch on “growing hair” and your hair (and beard for the males) starts growing a bit every week in let’s say 8 stages… ofcourse there are more important things to do. But would be cool. This is just fluff.

- Why is there no trade function? In this other MMO that I played you could sent someone an item and they could only take it out of the mail if they paid the amount you asked. Cash on delivery, can’t be too hard to implement? Right now I’ve sent cash to people who claimed they sent me an item I never received…

- Why is there no inspect function (if there is one, why is nog easily found?)

- Why can’t I put myself on Follow? I know with the rough terrain I’d get stuck sooner or later, but not having it alltogether doesn’t really make sense…

- Why is there no firstperson view?

Bigger stuff

- Why does a bear drop a piece of armor? It doesn’t make sense… what also doesn’t make sense is how little hides you get from killing all sorts of beasts, every now and again you get something you can salvage into hides. But I’m guessing it’s too late to fix this. I’ll get used to it though…

- This last MMO I played and skipped, was very very linear, themepark kinda stuff. Not what I was looking for. This cannot be said for GW2. The only thing I do find annoying is the portals, you don’t really get this sense of great open space with the loading screens you have to go through every time you pass on to the next area. This obviously cannot be changed and they prolly decided to make it this way because of server issues…

Overall, I’m very happy with this game, and I look forward to further getting into the story, the crafting and maybe even the PVP someday, who knows ?
