Guild Wars 2

Does it bother anyone that the bear… is well… a mini-bear? They are so tiny in the game… Now I’ve seen bears in real life… the only small ones are cubs. A full grown bear is about the size of an average human, on all fours…. when they stand up they tower over even the tallest men, weighing up to 2000lbs. 2000 pounds…. can you imagine. I look at my brown bear and I think… of all the bears why did I get the runt of the litter. Now lets go to the wolves… again sizes here. Wolves are large. were talking really large here, can you tackle a moose? a timber wolf can. These things are slightly larger than your German Shepard which is about 2 1/2 to 3 1/2 feet tall. larger species of wolfs wolves are around 5-6 feet long…. Why does my wolf look like it’s going to lose a fight to a collie.

Look I’m the fricken expert on animals here, but holy crap the pet models are kittened small.

I’d appreciate it if the game developers did some research into the animals they are trying to create before just piecing them together. Get out of your office, stop staring at pictures of animals online and reading Wikipedia and go to the zoo, go on a hunting expedition. Do some real research on what these animals look like…

Granted I don’t expect them to find an ice drake but hey… At least they would have a better idea on how to make it’s model after they’ve seen some real animals.

I would like my wolf to be about the size of Garm.
