Guild Wars 2

This is a problem in every mmorpg I’ve played so I just want to bring it up to see if anybody shares my opinion.

I think one handed weapons should be cheaper than two handed weapons. If you’re running a build that requires only a two handed weapon, you only need to purchase one item. Whereas if you have a duelist type of build with two one-handed weapons, you need to buy two items. This isn’t a big deal in the beginning of the game but buying cultural weapons or other highly ranked weapons can get really pricey really fast.

I just think it’s not fair that the people that run builds that require two weapons have to pay twice as much for their weapons as players that run builds with just a two handed weapons.

Not sure how to interpret this.

Trading post is demand driven so that can’t be it.

You mentioned karma pieces should be cheaper. Let’s say half cost.

Are you also saying crafted and forged weapons should require half of the materials 2h do?

What about legendaries?

Hmm I think 2 handers should be cheaper because you get less benefits. You only have 1 sigil vs 2

2 1handers → Night + Slaying
1 2hander → Night
…
Yep, no benefit to 1handers at all.
