I have noticed that you have to have free bank/inventory slots in order to retain your hats/hat wear/costumes. My suggestion is to create a hat collector(only for event/special hats that were for a limited time and free to get, i.e. devil’s horns, witch hat, celebration hat) like in the first game, once you show him a hat he would be able to make you one for 1 silver. That way you dont have to spend bank slots to be able to retain those hats.
The second part is that you have a collections tab for your costumes, which will be different one from the general bank.
And my third and last suggestion is that when you click to deposit all collectibles your miniatures wont go to the bank. Its kinda annoying when you collect a bunch of materials(10-15+) and click deposit all collectibles for your miniatures to dissapear. Thats what has been keeping me from buying some.

I agree 100% on the costume/hat NPC. They had one in Guild Wars 1, don’t know why they not have one in this game.
As for the minis, get an invisible bag. Whatever you put in there doesn’t get auto deposited. You may have to move mats out of there occasionally, but at least your minis stay with you when you deposit all.

I kinda wish we could ‘equip’ a mini with our town clothes…

I agree on this as well. Was very nice to have the NPC in GW1 to store your hats and costumes. For mini’s it’s nice to store them as well and agree with Astral if you want to carry one around then best option is to use a invisible bag or your other option is to click each item you want to deposit which takes time to do. But if your in the middle of a fight and want to grab a item when your out of space and know you have deposit able items to free space then you can use the deposit all faster than stopping and doing each one individually. So still best option at this point is the invisible bag.

Sorry but the current system is kitten and I really mean kitten. We are able to get special event costumes and yet we can’t use them as armor? How many of you switch to town armor when you are in the town? I guess none. Make it like in GW1.

I also agree on the idea on having special tab for costumes.
