Guild Wars 2

I just realized that In the near future I may want to send out a notice to all guild members. Stating that I would like either an in game mail or a tell from them letting me know if they intend to stay active In the guild or if they are even still playing the game so that we might clean house a little bit since launch and have our guild total reflect our actual active members. But how am I to contact all of the people who aren’t representing our guild, mail them one at a time when I already have a perfectly good in game compiled list of all my guilds members.
I refuse to believe I’m the only one out there who would like a way to contact en mass all of the people who are in our guild but either don’t play anymore or aren’t repping the guild. Maybe not everyone needs this, but it should definitely be an option for guild leadership.
Who else out there would support this idea?

I would definitely support it. Guild mailing is kinda the basics….. Helps a lot with informing about events, patches and other important stuff.

Ok second attempt at agreeing with this suggestion. I don’t really have any extra suggestions to add as its a really straight forward suggestion but i think this would be a fantastically useful addition. This post is me lending my support to a really good idea, If we can’t simply agree with a really good idea then what’s the point of having a suggestions forum.

Yes this would be great, I haven’t previously felt the need to such a feature but I can definitely imagine that I would if it existed.

So a sort of ‘newsletter’ sent to every member registered with a particular guild
(guilds only). Seems fair.

Yes, I like this idea. Or atleast show the announcements every 15 minutes in chat, because alot of the guildmembers forget or are too lazy to read them.

Just like every other time somebody suggests this stuff, I will again post that I’m in favor of it.

Would love to see this feature in the game anytime soon! Make sure to add a permission for it, so guild leaders can choose who’s allowed to send mail to the whole guild and who’s not.

This is needed to help get all guild members on the same page, it is extensively time consuming to write all members with message suppression. We have a guild event coming up and have no simple way of relaying all details.

1. Message of the day doesn’t auto post in guild chat upon log on, and NOT everyone goes to Guild tab to read it.

2. Can’t copy and paste guild event info in mails to guild members because of message suppression.

This option is needed badly! PLEASE help us run our guilds better.

Having a Email all Guild Members would be an awesome communication tool that all guild leaders should have accesses to. Please add this option ASAP.

in order to communicate important guild reorganisation information to every member of the guild, my guild leader had to send 4 mails to each of 125 members. Now that is plainly ridiculous having to do that. Mail all would have saved a LOT of time there.

also the limits on how much you can type is far too small.
