I dunno if it’s just me, but other than the Anonymity Hood (which is soulbound :/) there doesn’t seem to be ANY other hoods for us medium armor wearers. I think I might’ve seen one from one of the dungeon armor vendors, but really? No hoods?

Only mages get them? There should be more hoods.

Googled a bit, here’s what I found:

1.) Make a new thief with hood.
2.) Have another character buy a cheap mask. NOTED: This mask needs to be white or blue name (This is important)
3.) Put said mask in bank.
4.) Log onto the new thief with hood.
5.) Now you can transmute the mask into hood.
6.) Put the new transmuted hood into bank
7.) Go into your current thief and then take out the transmuted hood.
8.) Now you can transmute the hood with any mask

Genius, thank you. New suggestion, don’t patch this ANet, I want to do this.

My Mesmer would gladly trade you her hood for the ability to wear one of the half dozen pirate hats (medium armor) that I have looted over the past week.

If it works let us know. I’ll be wanting to “copy” a few anonymity hoods just in case = )

This is not an acceptable solution.
I strongly encourage the content designers to make ALL starting gear head & shoulders skins available through normal means. At least on 80, but I’d much prefer it sooner, since L10-70 seems to suffer from a severe case of awful skin selection.

Nobody likes a tease and I really though we would have evolved beyond that.

There are other hoods. Order of whispers armor and a few others come to mind.

I agree I would really love to have a hood for my Sylvari ranger but they just don’t exist outside of the rarest hardest to obtain armor, or thief starter. Please add some I would even pay real money for a skin if I had to.

OoW and CoE have MA hoods…
