Could you offset the X,Y,Z each patch?
I like that idea, but I’m not sure it would work. When the game restarted after downtime, everyone would reappear at their old coordinates, and fry.
I do wonder if there’s a chance of them setting up some kind of teleport detection at a few choice locations in the game world, and watching who teleports to there and from where. Put it on some rich nodes, and watch the reports fly in.
delicate, brick-like subtlety.

Not if they apply the offset when players log in… only when they try and port to a specific point will they fry.
Then the bot only needs to remember at which coordinates he last DCed and compare it to the coordinates he is after he reconnects to find the offset.

True… It’s more of a one trick pony to catch out as many bots as possible, for as little effort as possible, yes they will adapt…
Actually an offset wouldn’t be needed just an invisible AoE node buff, with a dead space in the middle, mine the node without the buff and flag the account, collect 100 flags within 20 mins, flag it as a bot for deletion later.
Or record when players first use a new stack of harvesting tools for the first time, then again when they use the last strike of that tool. Bots should then be easy to spot
