I feel the crafting and gathering aspects of gw2 is severely lacking.

This game is very action based and a high paced game, but sometimes I would like to just slow down he pace with crafting and gathering.
I would like to see the process of creating something. From mining ores in the mines, process the ore and make into bars and then creating the armor afterwards.

For cooking, perhaps get wheat and make some flour with the many grinding mills. this would make locations worth visiting and most importantly memorable. I would go to queensdale for flour since it has so many farmfields and mills. This will make even higher lvl players to travel back to mid to low lvl areas and have something to do.

Have some ppl go to places to get materials and a place to process them – and a place to finally craft. have people more a little more so you can see more ppl ont he roads making this game seem to have more ppl more of a community.
perhaps mat based maps.

There should also be fishing to expand the market and to increase cooking craftings.

the current system is you MUST go and explore to fight, explore to level, explore to find dungeons, and if you have nothing to do? EXPLORE. Now even if you want to craft – explore. Eventually there won’t be much to explore anymore. currently GW2 is a thick book of connect the dots where ppl rushing vista, poi, skill points to complete a map moving on to the next. Gathering is more like hide n seek and not really natural.

It just doesn’t feel right to so focus on exploration as a way of playing without a lasting appeal once finished/ explored / connected the dots.

- I infract cause I’m passionate about the game-
