The only materials that don’t go into collections are Rare Materials. If you’re banking inscriptions, insignia, boot soles and torch heads, you’re doing it all wrong.

Pretty much this. The only change I would like to see is being able to have more than one stack in the collectables tab.
The Lost Shores should have stayed lost.

What about items like Molten Slivers?

Those are Rare Materials. They stack up to 250, and there’s 8 types of them, 5 tiers each. If you have some of all of them, of every tier, that’s 40 slots, and you should probably sell the ones you’re not going to use.

He said Rare Materials. That’s a rare material.
Edit: Darn Ninjas.

I know, you still said he’s “doing it all wrong”.
40 slots is two bank tabs or half of your inventory.

i agree even though ive bought lots of extra bank slots i have a lot of extra food items crafted that are craftables taking up extra space. sure i could just build the ones i need but my memory isnt the greatest and its all about convinience. by all means charge for the super crafting slot. but make it include everything. every craftable chef item ect. if you havent found it leave it as a ? but give us the slots. i have more inventory space than i need by far. but its cluttered and i want to store neat items there not food thats been aging in there since launch.
there’s also cooking mats.
I generally managed on just 2 bank tabs, until I took up cooking. suddenly my bank and bag are full

Cooking materials are just like boot soles and uppers, and coat padding and sword blades and insignia and inscriptions.
If you half-craft an item, and don’t do the rest, you end up with leftovers. If you feel compelled to bank all those leftovers because you didn’t do the math ahead of time, that’s kind of your fault.

Bank tabs are 30 slots. The fact that you didn’t know how big they are leads me to believe that you probably don’t really pay much attention to your bank.

nels why are you even arguing agains tthis other than to troll? do you really think that having slos in the bank for all crafting materials is a bad idea? something the game would be worse off for having? why dont you explain yourself why would it be a bad thing to have that? it would be a huge convenience and nothing else. i really want to know.
and fyi half prepped items sokitten ots and cooking ingredients arent rare.
im not sure what the swear is there….
I wonder if this sort of thing was discussed in the design phases. It sort of makes sense to me that components like inscriptions etc would also have collections slots. But at the same time there wouldn’t be a lot of need for it unless you regularly make certain things that justify keeping the components on hand. Or for odd cases like I made enough dowels to discover all the tier 2 recipes on artificer after I have reached 400. As they take up far less space than the materials that were needed to make the dowels. I thought hey how come they don’t get stored in the collections section after the fact. But it’s not a huge deal to me as it is only one space taken up for a long duration.

Can you put 40 items in 30 slots?
I don’t think you can. Ergo, storing 40 items requires TWO BANK TABS, AND REQUIRES YOU TO PAY MONEY.
