Creep/Camo/Stealth Mode

Stealth ability for all classes? No.
An NPC able to cast stealth on you for 5 minutes (which breaks when engaging an enemy) at the entrances of non-PvP areas is more viable.
Bad idea, imo. Why should level 80’s be given the chance to avoid encounters with mobs simply because they don’t like it? I don’t like having to deal with aggro on my mid-to-high level toon either when I’m farming mats etc but I accept that’s part of the game. Suck it up, buttercup.
ANet kept long-term stealth out for a reason. So, no.
On the topic of avoiding encounters, how about an intimidation type aura?
- Top of the Food Chain: Exude an aura of intimidation that prevents any mobs within range from targeting the user for 10 seconds, with varying success. While in use, the user cannot deal damage in any form.
Naturally, this would not work on bronze/silver/gold/platinum tier mobs, and its success varies based on level-difference.
It would be a utility skill with zero cooldown that you receive at level80, so you can swap it out any time.

I wish people would explain their reasons when rejecting an idea.

What reason? So that we couldn’t explore or perform any task without having to constantly fend off the same mob?
Your Top of the Food Chain idea fits in with the game’s predisposition towards extremely short term effects that make hardly any difference, but I really don’t see what the problem is with being able to avoid encounters (while moving at a slower pace) if one wishes. Pray tell, how does it give you an unfair advantage or ruin the game?
