Critical Hit Chance To Much Luck?
1. This isn’t a suggestion.
2. You already posted this. https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/suggestions/Crit-Chance-Is-To-Random-No-Skill/first#post3032085
Posting the same thing twice (and bumping your first thread) doesn’t help in any constructive manner.
3. See my post in that thread.
Critical hit chance is the probability for ones character to do double damage.
No it isn’t.
If two teams or two individuals had 5% critical hit chance and squared off against each other, would the critical chance alone determine who the more skilled player is over long run?
Over a long run? No, their crits would average out over a long run.
how can you prove that statistically?
What if one player is really lucky and lands all crit hits while the other play doesnt land any at all. How can you disprove this theory?

Because that’s how statistics work? With infinite attempts 5% will prove to be 5%. In 20 attempts 5% could prove to be 50% or more likely 0%. As such it’s a meaningless argument.

Think OP needs to look up what ‘theory’ means…
Know that you sacrifice other stat for crit chance and crit damage, I have 100% crit chance so it’s not random for me, I crit every time, and please notw that if you have 0% in crit damage the crit gives only 50% damage bonus.
Yes lets completely destroy every dps build..

Does Guild Wars 2 use " pseudo random number generation (PRNG), an algorithm for generating a sequence of numbers that approximates the properties of random numbers." For stats like critical hit chance?
This method is widely used in games such as Dota, Wc3 and League of Legends.
