Quite frankly it sounds lazy cause it is . Its not like you need to port back to LA or Divinities Reach to grab money in the TP there are more than enough places in the open world. As far as bouncing around to alts , it takes a max of what a min to get on all of them and store the gold .
You can call it lazy.. just like the ‘leave instance’ button instead of walking back, or sending the gold to your mailbox when finishing a heart instead of turning it in, or the ‘go to the heart of the mists’ button instead of a teleporter in LA…
It is all relative and I think it helps you focus on the fun and not the small things that add up to a lot of time. If I wanted to sort and order, I’d be playing eve online
Well, be glad you can put stuff up for auction from random spot X. It’s not that hard to have an alt in LA for general business, especially if you use BLTC.
But tbh, I’m not against having a “deposit to bank” button at BLTC.
Then again, combining the coinpurses of all characters is what I am against. I want them to have separate money for various reasons, to keep tabs on which character can spend how much on leveling up for example.
Of course, a more practical reason would be when you hit the cap at the bank. In GW1, after I hit the cap (which was like 1,000 platinum.) I had all my characters store some money (8×100 platinum)
So 1,800 plat instead of 1,100 plat.
People who can’t tend to call the opponent troll, scream something utterly incomprehensible
and finally result to personal insults.
I always carry a minimum of 1g per alt, problem solved.
Hmmm really, this looks like a solution in search of a problem. At the end of a play period, I take my character to LA (for free, by going to the Mists ^^ ) and put all the money in the bank except for 10 silver, which is plenty for waypointing or repairs. It’s not like you are going to spend loads of money while playing unless you die a lot or use waypoints instead of running to places.
The high level characters that I have parked in areas I farm, when they get significant amounts of money, I check out my servers WvW borderlands. A lot of times there is a bank there and I use it to deposit my money. WvW also has a TP right by the spawn point. Even a low level alt can go there and access these. Then either go to character selection screen or log out. That character then return to the site it came from.
