T1: 60 silver.
T2: 2 gold.
T3: 30 gold…. What!?

Something is terribly wrong with this… I can understand 30 gold for the entire set, but for ONE piece of armor out of 6?!

The only people I see who have this are mostly people who abused bugs to get alot of gold or bought it before they nerfed the prices.

I have to agree with this. While I find it pretty easy, at a low level, to get 1-2 gold every few days, when you also have to purchase training manuals, good weapons, etc. it really all starts to add up.

I think 30g for the entire set is a little cheap, to be honest… But maybe something like 45 or 50 for whole set, and I’d be okay with that.

Are you kidding? with all the stuff I have to buy every day to keep up with the game… grr

The price is ok. It’s not an armor people could get in a few days. It’s like legendary weapons.

At 30 gold a piece x 6, I would hope it’s as legendary as legendary items.

Its a yellow item, and has terrible stats.

’terrible stats’ meaning, Stats that people don’t go for? Then I agree, Lower the costs so we can get the skins.

The price would be fine for orange gear, but it’s just standard yellow. The stats should reflect the cost, imo.

It does seem steep for an (albeit quite awesome) armor skin. Heck—you gotta pay for the fine transmute stones too, unless you get pretty lucky with map completion rewards.

I suppose you could be buying it for stats, but you can get yourself a full set of exotic armor crafted-to-order with exactly the stats and runes you want for the price of the chest piece alone o.o

7-10g each would be more reasonable, IMO. It wouldn’t address the problem of people having already paid the price for them now though. I highly doubt any refunds would be given if the price was adjusted lower.

After EVERYTHING about legendaries and the countless discussions about skins, how do people still not realise that the top tier ridiculous kitten like this is purely for a cosmetic look?

Anet most likely know the stats are crap. It’s the skin that they want people to go for and transmute it, it’s a proper endgame skin. People whine about the endgame lacking, come back when you can afford T3.

True. Even if it was white, people would go for it, as they aren’t going to get it for the stats.

i made a thread about legendaries but the same could be done to cultural t3 armors aswell to some degree. i also dislike the gold > anything we have currently. but changing or removeing it seems to be not about right. have a look.

The price is fine as is. You don’t buy it for the stats, you buy it for the skin.

Make it cheap and everyone will be running around in it. It’s supposed to be a special armor.

by this definition it could be white. or even better like the shop armor so you can transfer it for free (and don’t have to get fine trans stones on top).
