First I must declare that I have taken this idea from another game but arguably teh time it would take to implement would be large.

The idea is to have as the title suggests a customisable personal nemesis. i see these as Story Missions – in other words alternate ways to level through the content. Usually when you start getting into the order storylines the choices tend to narrow a bit. This could be a good time to introduce someone that has a grudge against the character.

In other words there would be a choice in a conversation with someone saying there is a rumour of someone going after the character for what they have done previously in the personal story. For example in the human one – could have a bandit, a sereph or maybe a risen.

Now a simple way to implement would be just to have set named villians created by Anet but my proposal would be to then go to a character creator with templates of bandit, sereph and risen and you can change the look and name.

A good option would be to make it into an optional choice – in other words the previous conversation would have an option and say it is only a rumour so the player can carry on as before.

The set missions could involve people from previous personal story and again make it more unique for the player. This could happen later on as well – for the latter stages of the leveling process.

Other aspects could be having customisable minions of the villain and the potential to have a dungeon for all your villains and your guild mates villains.

Optional extentions/ideas
Anet could sell villain/monster templates to use or usable villainous clothes
How about a guild customisable villain – someone the guild has upset
Where I stol …. have taken the idea from used to have the minions attack the player’s character as they were travelling through the landscape.
Therefore perhaps (and I do see a lot of problems with the next two ideas) you could have minions turn up as part of dynamic events or have specific dynamic events that just involve a persons villianous deedsthat other people may help in/stumble across like happens now with dynamic events.

As I mentioned earlier – a lot of work and arguably a lot of flaws but what do people think?
