Hello, ArenaNet!

In general I can understand why you don’t want to see these odd cyrillic letters in /M , /S and other public chat channels. So I have a suggestion to add support of adding cyrillic fonts manualy (like support of custom music), so this font would be visible only for these players who has it.

If the thing is that “Cronos Pro” font, which you use in game, has no cyrillic letters (couldn’t google any by myself) – so here is it created by me.
It is not perfect but can be usable and won’t damage game design.

I don’t really see why ANet would be against Cyrillic letters (or any other Unicode symbols for that reason). People with Latin-based alphabets can use their native languages in chat, why can’t we? Also, nice job on the font Kreven, you nailed the original look

Bump. The fact is… even this forum supports Unicode (that is, Cyrillic letters, in our case). Would you kindly add a font, any font (maybe even this forum’s font?) to the game? Because the “support”, from the technical point of view, is already there.

P.S. If you really think this is such a small matter… well… the fact is that a lot of people at my guild does not play because we cannot communicate normally in the guild chat. “Smart” remarks about Skype and what not are fine… (and we certainly have these “other” means up and running) but, in the end, this “small” detail does get to one. Even more (far more, mind you, at least in my case) than the English UI.

As long as I don’t have to be bothered by Cyrillic spam I don’t see why not.
