Hello,

I want to ask whether the game guild wars 2 could do in the Czech language.
I belong to players who do not speak English, German, Spanish or French language. So mostly I do not know what is in the stories and just doing what he wants from me. Some mmorpg in the Czech and others Translate players as in Aion or World of Warcraft, also translated a lot of single player rpg players so I think that you would even among gamers might find people who would be willing to translate your cooperation game.

Although I agree with you that there should be more languages. But assuming the game is played mostly in northern america and europe, there are other languages ‘missing’ as well.

Italian: 59 million native speakers
polish: 40 million native speakers
Dutch: 23 million native speakers (30 million if you also count the related language Afrikaans).
Greek: 13 million speakers
Czech: 12 million native speakers
Portuguese: 10 million native speakers on the european continent, and 215 million world wide, making it a very commercial interesting option.
The scandinavian languages.

In other words. A lot of potential candidates.

It’s not just how many people live in the country, but how many are playing. If you are about to port the yes we are few, but we are playing in the number of States as maj or more inhabitants
In addition to the Czechs and Slovaks can count on us so it’s 20 million + / – really do not know how many of our brothers from Slovakia but we have almost the same language

according to the wiki Czech language is native spoken by 12 million speakers. not only by Czechs, but also in Slovakia and in parts of Austria. And you are right. it is the amount of players. I am dutch myself and can tell there are a lot of people playing, but also a lot of them are not palying cause they haven’t mastered the english language. So not having the language is a barrier as well. Thats why I listed the amount of potential players. Thats why I used the number of native speakers (with the exception of the portuguese, cause somehow the game isn’t as popular in central and southern america).

Yes, as the wiki maybe just that Slovak is taken as a different language even though it is almost the same. Therefore, when the game is translated into Czech or Slovak will be for players from both countries to use as well. Therefore, players from both countries can count together. And that someone was talking in Austria Czech Otomo I doubted if not taking total immigrant

For your own good it is better if you use this game as a learning tool.

Seriously there is a slim chance anybody would bother translating this game into Czech.

I don’t mean to be rude …but it would be wasting of resources.

Maybe that is just my inner hatred talking (it is ok I’m Czech too).

Moc bych na to nesazel, nevyplati se jim to….anglictina stejne neni moc nutna pro tudle hru. Stahni si nekdy serial co neni nadabovany v cestine a stahni si k tomu anglicky titulky … na cesky se vykasli. Ono to za cas bude dobry Cesky preklad by ti jen branil v rozletu.
