Afaik a DF is a Dungeon Finder, but I don’t know if that is what people in this thread are talking about.

Hmm, I don’t think it’s that, because they’re talking about making it exclusive to WvW, and opening/closing depending on who has a certain amount of keeps and stuff.
Maybe it’s a dungeon that only opens when you control a certain number of points?

Basically, the side that controlled WvWvW in DAoC would be able to enter DF, the other two realm’s entrances would be closed off. If you were inside while the entrance state changed, tough luck – but it was a big enough dungeon to actually hide from the other realm’s invaders! Darkness Falls was huge and epic, with lots of different paths and crossroads to take, deep, deep down into hell.
(Note: This video lacks some super bosses though.)
Edit: This vid was taken with the old graphics engine from when DAoC was released, but it will serve to give you an impression what I meant by ‘huge’ =P

Oh, I thought the OP was talking about Dwarven Fortress. But I guess it ain’t that either.
A tip for the OP, would help if you used acronyms that everyone knows/can’t be confused with anything else.

yes, Darkness Falls is a huge aspect of pvp.. or was. It incentivised people to go out, for at least a little bit, because there was an “Objective” (outside of just having fun bashing peoples skulls in): to open up an area w/ exclusive ‘items’.
This is the only thing WvWvW is missing.
