Hi…with competitive and progressive pve now I’d like to min / max my damage output between weaposn like gs / axes etc etc.

I want to know too my damage between weapons But … you know… DPS meters messed up pve in wow… I don’t wanna see something like that and in this game..

Do math. Stop being Lazy.

With a game like this, there’s no place for DPS meters because theres no place for a “rotation”. You should always be playing situationally, and because of the spontaneity of combat (downs, reviving other players, constant movement/dodging, healing/buffing your allies (assume you are looking out for them right?)) it wouldn’t fit in this type of game. Besides the worst thing that will happen from this is people not paying attention to what they are doing and paying attention to their meter.

What exactly do you want it to tell you? An average damage of each skill if you were to repeat it whenever possible? How would it deal with things like weapon #1 getting most of its damage from auto-attack, while weapon #2 uses the auto to fill the gap between something like hundred blades? Comparing an auto attack with a skill that has a cooldown would either make it the c/d skill seem very underwhelming, or super-powered if the cooldown was ignored.

And out of curiosity, how on earth do you PvE competitively? Like a sort of monster killing race?

I agree, we need a parser.

To all of you people QQing about it and questioning it, just take a step back and think about it from YOUR perspective with NO other people involved. You SHOULD be wanting to be a better player, thus you SHOULD be testing various gear combo’s, traits, skills, etc; to see which is the best one. A parser would help YOU do that.

Make it parse only YOU, and not show others dps. I personally want to know how good my tanking is and where I can improve without spending huge amounts of gold and just eyeballing it.

Improve the combat log and we should all be fine.
Just check it AFTERWARDS and learn your lessons.

At least that is what I (would) like to do, if something either went terribly wrong or extremely well. I would love to see regeneration, healing and some other stuff that I can’t find in the logs atm.
