Daily - A love/hate relationship
The amount of dailies has gotten quite excessive, especially for those OCD-inclined individuals. I doubt they’ll change it though. I sympathize (find myself addicted to getting laurels even though I hate grinding daily), but I don’t know how they could really fix it.
Before laurels wasn’t a problem for me. Oh well, lost some karma and mystic coin. I was fine with it. Laurels not being attainable anywhere else… it bothers me to miss.
Not a bad suggestion in terms of completing it. I hunt my dailies each day and yeah it does take away from actually playing the game.
Stop trying to screw up the system because you have an OCD achievement point problem.
It works as intended. It is your own problem that you think you need every last point. You’re mistaken.

Monthly seems like a perfect deal for all players it gives us all lots of time and freedom to work at those goals where as the daily system in itself is a mess…. Cant log in daily or play longer then X amount of time well to bad… I just wish one day they will put a end to this daily system and give players more slack to earn feats in the game more attune to how they want to play. KEY WORD HOW THEY WANT TO PLAY what is fun for them. Daily system hinders those who cant put in time needed and it hinders those who want to put in lots of time and effort willing to work extra hard for w/e they want
I find that I do complete them naturally, or I think “Hmm I need Shiverpeaks kills today, I’ll play an alt for a while and explore a new area a bit.” I have only once or twice “grinded” for a daily, and then it must have taken me about half an hour to get all five because they’re really very easy to get.
I hate doing the daily but I have to do them. I’m an achievement point collector. The issue is now I spend far too much time chasing daily items rather than just playing the game. I spoke to a friend who also said they have the same issue.
It would be nice if they were changed to encourage more natural game play. Something like, you need 1000 points to complete the daily. Points are earned by completing different tasks…
PvE kill = 2
Dynamic Event = 30
Champion Slay = 50
Exp Dungeon = 200
World Boss = 150
Resource Node = 5

A point system is superior in most every way.
What most devs fail to understand is players want the choice of how they spend their time left in their own hands. When devs force only X or only Y it breeds resentment that eventually erodes the enjoyment for the game and the players move on.
